Now, you are aware that Oman has beaches. Apart from beaches, Oman has some beautiful mountain ranges where you can actually enjoy hiking. Few of my favorite hiking places of Oman are mentioned below:
Jebel Akhtar is also known as “Green Mountain”, it is because this mountain has plantation that feeds all the villagers situated at its bottom. Jebel Akhtar is mostly rocky but with that, it has great moisture to offer pleasant weather even in summers. You can definitely try hiking at the Jebel Akhtar.
One of the most interesting places in Oman. “Majlis Al-Jinn” name means a gathering place of Genes. Majlis Al Jinn is the second largest cave of the planet. It covers an area equivalent to 11 football fields. If you are about to pick Oman Tour package then, I would say ask your operator about visiting Majlis Al jinn.
Apart from these two particular activities, there are several other that you can do like, Camel Riding, Paragliding, River Rafting, and Desert Safari. If you will visit Oman once, you will never deny visiting it again.
